Matt Hardy sustained a serious injury during his battle with Sammy Guevara at AEW All Out. He fell from an elevated platform and landed directly on the concrete.
While the company and Tony Khan issued statements saying that Matt Hardy did not suffer any severe damage or concussions, his wife had a different opinion.

Matt Hardy gives an update about his injury
Now, Matt Hardy himself has spoken about his injury and given an update about his health to his worried fans. Even though the video is addressed to one specific individual (it was a Cameo request), it still gives us an insight into his health status.
According to him, he was stuck in the hospital for two days before being able to return home. On top of that, the impact with the concrete left him with a nasty bump. However, he is quite happy to be back home.

“I have just gotten home, I was in the hospital for a couple of days. I took a very bad bump when I smashed myself on the concrete. Had to go for a whole bunch of tests, eye evaluations. They just wouldn’t let me go. So I was just stuck in the hospital…… I am so happy to be out and be back home.”
