Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt could potentially head to AEW once his non-compete clause ends. However, it’s unsure if this will actually happen.

While rumours are that Wyatt will sign with AEW, IMPACT Wrestling has shown similar interest. Dave Meltzer reported that if Wyatt chooses IMPACT, it could be at Bound For Glory. On the other hand, his potential AEW debut could be on AEW Dynamite: September 29th, 2021.

This show is supposed to take place in Rochester, NY. one reason this is the rumoured date is because Rochester is Brodie Lee’s home city, and being friends with Lee, it could be Wyatt’s tribute to Brodie Lee.

A wrestler who has skills of portraying two characters who are on the opposite end of a spectrum, yet managing to connect with a certain darkness, is valuable.

In fact, when WWE released him, everyone was shocked! It definitely wasn’t in the company’s best interest because if the creative team couldn’t come up with a story for The Fiend, it’s a loss for WWE.
