AJ Styles is currently the reigning and defending Intercontinental Champion. On the other hand, his arch nemesis The Undertaker, has never actually won the Intercontinental Championship title.

AJ Styles puts forward a huge offer to The Undertaker

In a recent interview with Vicente Beltrán, Styles made a huge offer to The Deadman. He was asked if he will defend his IC title against The Undertaker.

According to Styles, he will gladly move forward with this if it means Undertaker will get inside the ring with him. However, he is skeptical about whether The Undertaker will take this bait or not.

There is a good reason why The Undertaker retired.

“Yeah, I would definitely if I thought that it would get him in the ring with me in front of thousands of people. I would definitely put up that Intercontinental Championship. Will that happen? Will he take the bait? Probably not.”

AJ Styles holds massive respect for The Undertaker in his heart. He believes that Undertaker’s achievement is one that is not possible for everyone.

In fact, he is not sure if he can do what Undertaker has done in his career. Therefore, The Deadman has earned the right to quit the industry on his own terms.

“If he decided he is done then I respect that man and he has definitely done enough in his career to say ‘that’s it, I’m done’. Trust me, I know what it’s like. I can’t imagine doing what he’s done for so long, I really can’t. So, if the one thing he has earned is the right to call quits on his own terms and the way he wants to so. But, I would definitely offer that opportunity.”
