As The Undertaker rides into the sunset, tributes have begun pouring in. One man who’ll certainly think of himself as very fortunate is AJ Styles.

If The Dead Man indeed decides that he is hanging up his boots for good, then his boneyard match against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania would be his last match ever. There are many who had clamored for that honor. However, it appears that it’s The Phenomenal One who will have this achievement in his resume.

In fact, AJ wouldn’t even have realized at the time that he is wrestling The Dead Man in his retirement match. Now that it’s a huge possibility, the phenomenal one is extremely grateful. He put out a tweet expressing his thankfulness.

The boneyard match was the perfect way for The Undertaker to finally announce his retirement. With the novel cinematic concept, the match was very well received by the fans as well as the critics of Taker.

Notably, The Dead Man had revealed that he wanted his last match to be Special. It should be something that the fans can look back upon and say that The Undertaker retired after delivering a quality wrestling match.

His matches against the likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns weren’t really of the quality that would attract that kind of appreciation. More than everything, The Undertaker even brought out his iconic biker personality. When you’re looking for a good match, there’s hardly anyone in the world who can match AJ Styles.

The phenomenal one can wrestle a broom and make it look like a fine wrestler. So obviously he made a 55-year-old Taker look like he was still in his prime. With everything said and done, fans will actually look back at the last match of The Undertaker and remember his career with a great degree of reverence.

As for AJ Styles, he is currently looking to build himself as the face of Smackdown. His current reign with the Intercontinental Championship is looking like a slow process towards another WWE Championship run.
