“We always have to cross that bridge when we come to it. I’m 53 years old, I’ll be 54 here in a couple of weeks. Hey, as long as my body can still do it, I’m still going to do it. It’s very tough because being a power wrestler at this age, I’m not the person I was back in the past. You have that sense of, ‘Oh, am I ruining my legacy?’ Well, you know what? I still have to put food on the table for my family.”

On the other hand, he does not see himself being a part of the ring when he reaches a certain age.

“There are a lot of things that come into consideration, and at the end of the day, I’m a businessman. I do what I got to do to stay afloat and stay out there. I don’t see myself hanging it up any time soon, but then again, I also don’t see myself wrestling until I’m 60.”

Goldberg has often been termed as one of most the violent and dangerous wrestlers that have walked the ring. The point to consider here is that he started his in-ring career when critics were few, but fans were many.

Currently, there are many fans who have formed opinions about him. Many have claimed that his style is not suitable for the ring, and he should not be a part of matches where the top dogs of WWE might suffer injuries.

WWE capitalizes on giving fans what they want most of the time. So, if the audience strongly believes that Goldberg’s matches are more reckless than necessary, the company might not put him in important matches.

As of now, reports have revealed that WWE is planning to book him against Roman Reigns at the upcoming WrestleMania.
