The two-time Impact World Tag Team Champion was ambitious about his return to the WWE, during his stint with Impact Wrestling. However, things couldn’t fall into place exactly as he wanted.

Morgan added “So i put all that together, and where I lost them is where I said that ‘this would be … synthetically created perfect giant.’ That’s where I was told I lost them.” Morgan claimed that Vince McMahon and the WWE weren’t too keen on the idea of Morgan being a synthetically created giant.

In the same podcast, Matt Morgan explained that the term ‘synthetic’ was misunderstood by the WWE representatives. They thought it would hint at the usage of physically enhancing substances, which was not his intention.

Morgan said “this was a time when … you know wrestlers were not supposed to have anything to do (with) steroids or anything like that. So synthetically created could mean that and that’s not what it was supposed to mean.” Therefore, due to these creative differences, both parties abandoned the idea of his return.
