A Hall of Famer and former WWE legend recently opened up about his rapport with McMahon and his entry into WWE.

“It was not warm and fuzzy by any stretch of the imagination. The first year that I was at the WWE, from what I can remember, was one of the most stressful years of my entire life,” said Goldberg about his initial years in WWE.

The Hall of Famer later admitted that it could very well have been his own paranoia acting out. Making it clear that he was not insinuating any arbitrary charges over McMahon.

“And like I say, some of the things may have been fabricated in my own mind, to lobotomize me. But I felt as though I was still the enemy, walking in the locker room, everyone going ‘What the hell is this guy doing here?’ I’ve always felt like an outsider, but never as much as I did.”
Things got better later between Goldberg and McMahon

It is just like how a new kid in school would feel — It always takes some time for people to settle down and get comfortable in a new place.
“I hated him in the beginning, and now I’d die for him. Let’s be perfectly honest. I don’t think there’s a bigger swing of judgement than I have had since I’ve been in WWE…..I’d like to think that Vince and I have grown as friends,” Goldberg added. He later admitted to growing over the years, as a person and a wrestler.
