The epic Crews-Lashley battle at WWE Payback

The match between Crews and Lashley led to a huge victory for the powerhouse of the ‘Hurt Business.’

Crews tried every move in his arsenal such as the Frog Splash, German Suplex, and even the Standing Moonsault. However, he couldn’t stand up to the might of Lashley.

Bobby ended the match after using his trademark ‘Full Nelson.’

This is not the first time that Crews was at the other end of a battle which involved the Hurt Business. In fact, during an episode of WWE Raw, Lashley and Crews indulged in an arm-wrestling match. In that, Crews overpowered Lashley.

However, the match for the United States Championship title did not pan out the way Crews wanted. Even after everything, Crews continued to attack Lashley. The rest of the Hurt Business – MVP and Shelton Benjamin, had to pull him away.

Even when he was walking away, he made sure he declared that he will win the title back very soon.

This declaration opened up the possibility of the two of them getting back in the ring together, sometime in the near future. Tonight on Raw, the battle lines were drawn again.

Crews took on Shelton Benjamin on Raw Underground. Soon, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander were also in on the action. However, the ‘Hurt Business’ decimated them.

It will be interesting to see where this feud heads in the future.
