“He’s the best Heel in the business”- WWE Hall Of Famer Comments On Randy Orton
In a recent podcast on The Arn Show, former WWE Superstar Arn Anderson shared his thoughts about Randy Orton and his role as a heel. He has quite a bit to say about “The Viper” and about how the heel role is what his character is built for.
“When he’s on, when Randy’s healthy and he has a guy that can perform, then he’s a heel. When he’s the heel and allowed to get heat, he’s the best heel in the business,” says Anderson. “And I believe that. Randy works old school. Randy doesn’t do a one and a half off the top, he doesn’t dive out on the floor, he doesn’t do anything of those things.”

“The Viper” Randy Orton is like no other heel. He will make you hate his character but love it at the same time.
The emotion and character depth that Randy Orton brings into his storyline are unparalleled.
“What Randy does is come in, give you some attitude, tries to lean in and force his will upon you, which doesn’t work and then eventually he’ll do something rotten to get a guy down and he will stomp his brains out. And when Randy starts getting heat, you feel that. Its old school, straight-forward beat down,” explains Anderson.
Randy Orton has been doing a spectacular job as a heel
The most dangerous trait of “The Viper” is his RKO outta nowhere. The speed and adaptability of his finisher give him the ability to strike anytime and anywhere. This is one of his deadliest strengths.

“But he’s just so smooth in the ring you know, and his attacks like that RKO outta nowhere. No matter how much heat he may have had during the course of that match when he hits that RKO especially with a guy coming off the top or something that you don’t see, you got a baby face part because they’re cheering not necessarily the good guy or the bad guy, it was just ‘Hey, you got me. I didn’t see that coming,’ and it was done. Excellent.”

“That’s what Randy brings to the table and he just has that look man. He just looks like the guy that would reach over and bite your nose off. He’s an excellent heel now. When he gets forced into a babyface role and try to work babyface, Randy will tell you he’s not as comfortable. I think I agree with him, he’s a much better heel,” concludes Anderson.
