Big E Wins WWE Championship in Historic Fashion on WWE Raw

Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and became the WWE Champion for the first time in his career!! On tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, in the main event between Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton, Lashley successfully defeated Orton but couldn’t stop Big E from winning the Championship.

This WWE Championship victory for Big E means a lot to him because he has been a part of the WWE roster for over a decade and this is his first run with the WWE Championship.

Eventually, the rest of the New Day came out from backstage and the trio hugged in the middle of the ring, making it an emotional moment, just like they did when Kofi Kingston won the Championship.

‘The Powerhouse of Positivity’ became the second person in WWE history to announce when he’ll cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase after announcing the date and time to his opponent.

Before Big E, hardcore legend Rob Van Dam aka RVD grabbed the title after announcing when he’d cash in.

Big E ended a decent run of Bobby Lashley as the WWE Champion

‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship from Miz earlier this year and has elevated the status of himself as a performer and the Championship as well.

Siding with MVP, the duo produced some great matchups and promos which were missing from the Raw brand. However, even after beating Randy Orton in dominant fashion, Lashley couldn’t walk home as the champion.

Now, with no WWE Championship around his waist, maybe Bobby Lashley can focus on his old enemy, Goldberg.
