WWE NXT’s latest episode did not go as planned. The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) were supposed to take on Breezango for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship titles.

Unfortunately for Fish, he got attacked backstage, which rendered him incapable of competing. A video surfaced after the match which showed Fish limping away while others helped him. Even though he could not see who attacked him, he was not in a good shape post the attack.

The fingers point towards the obvious culprits, Fandango and Tyler Breeze. Obviously, if the match ultimately gets scrapped because of medical issues, they continue to keep the titles. Bobby Fish getting injured would have done just that.

However, The Undisputed Era has other members too. If Bobby Fish was attacked for the purpose of skipping the match, then it would never be successful. Superstars Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly will not sit back and watch while The Undisputed Era falls in a helpless situation.

Was the attack on Bobby Fish planned by the faction?

This was the first time that Fish and Roderick were teaming up. As a result, the pressure was immense. That Fish got injured to be replaced by Kyle O’Reilly for the Tag Team Title match may not be an unplanned incident.

It was important for The Undisputed Era to win back the twin titles. This mammoth task needed the coordination of two Superstars who have teamed up before. Reily has teamed up with Roderick strong once before and they defended the titles together for a while.
