One of the central talking points from last week’s RAW was the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg’s return. The former WWE Champion made a grand entry, and the crowd gave a colossal ovation as he walked his way to the ring. Goldberg then confronted a shocked WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and challenged him for the title at SummerSlam 2021.

Bobby, who remained silent during the confrontation, first took a dig at Goldberg via his social media account and now sent a straight-out message to Goldberg in this week’s episode of WWE RAW.

Bobby Lashley sends a message to Goldberg

Bobby Lashley, who was accompanied by his Manager MVP, came out to the ring to respond to Goldberg’s title challenge. MVP spoke about Goldberg and how he affronted The Almighty. Lashley was very much infuriated to hear the crowd chanting Goldberg’s name. Lashley then added that he didn’t plan on dignifying Goldberg with a response.

Bobby couldn’t add any more, as Cedric Alexander interrupted him, followed by Sheldon Benjamin, as they both wanted a match with Bobby. Lashley accepted both of them, which led to a handicap match. Lashley struggled a bit when Cedric and Sheldon worked as a team. But it only lasted for a few minutes as Lashley destroyed both of them, stacked them, and pinned them.

Towards the end of the match, Lashley gave Sheldon a Jackhammer, much to the surprise of MVP and to the Audience in the arena. This move was undoubtedly a direct message intended for Goldberg as the Jackhammer is the finishing move of Goldberg.

A colossal match in-store for SummerSlam 2021

It is indeed true that Goldberg is past his prime and has lost the ability to showcase his wrestling skills as he did in the past. But the fans can’t deny the star power Goldberg brings with him. The former WCW Champion is a giant money magnet and can pull more crowds into what seems to be a startled and exciting SummerSlam. Lashley’s dominance in WWE RAW is undeniable as he has worked hard enough to mold himself as a dominating demigod.

The match between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley will be a huge one for the career of both superstars. The most logical outcome for this match will be a dominating victory for Bobby, as it will portray him as unstoppable. On the other hand, a Goldberg victory will bring another silver lining to the WWE Hall of Famer’s career. But WWE should beware of the consequences as a Goldberg win will create Chaos in the WWE Universe because most fans believe Goldberg as a finished Superstar.
