“Stay Out Of The Ring Something Bad Could Happen”- WWE Hall of Famer Warns Christian Ahead Of WWE Return
Christian is all set to make a comeback after the latest RAW episode. Trying to avenge his best friend Edge with Ric Flair at his side, Christian was ready to accept Orton’s challenge for a match.
However, Ric Flair betrayed Christian by striking a low blow, which left Christian on all fours, in pain. Randy Orton took this opportunity to deliver his resurrected move- the Punt.

Everyone now expects the next major feud in line for Orton and the return of Christian to the ring. Booker T gives his opinion on this on the ‘Hall Of Fame’ show.
“I was thinking-‘Forget it man, stay out of the ring. Something bad could happen.’” Booker expresses concern for Christian. He may be right. Fighting Orton would be a futile effort, especially since “The Viper” has never looked better.
Christian had to retire from WWE because of the concussions he had sustained during his matches. However, since Edge has found his way back to the ring after suffering a comparatively worse set of injuries, Christian may feel like even he could pull it together one last time.
“We all say that. I mean I’ve got a neck issue, I’ve accomplished everything I want to accomplish in the business,” says Booker. “I’ma tell you right now let them suckers call me tomorrow and say ‘Book, we got a spot for you for Wrestlemania’…Alright!”
Booker T explains how he’ll tell himself that he’s done it all and has had his full, time and time again. However, if he gets the call for another match at the main event, he says he won’t think twice.
“You get the bug, man. Once you get back there, once you get a little taste of it, it’s something that wants to just pull you back in, something that wants to draw you back in, make you feel like ‘Man, I can do this!’”
Booker T explains how the energy lasts longer in your mind and not your body
Booker explains how the feeling of being in the ring goes, after all the years you spend away from it. But when the chance comes, and you do get back in the ring and it all starts coming back again.
The adrenaline starts pumping, and you feel like you can do it all over again. The energy is what pulls you back and calls you back to perform again. “We all feel that way, man. We all feel like we got one last run,” says Booker.

“You hit the gearing, the nitrous oxide, and then that’s it. There’s no more button to push,” explains Booker. He says that the energy you have left is just the adrenaline that’s good for maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
After that, you feel bogged down again. “You start thinking ‘What was I thinking coming back?’” says Booker.

“I wanna see Christian back in the ring one more time. You do wanna walk away the way you wanna walk away, finish the way you need to finish.”
Christian had to retire due to concussions. Booker says that when you look back at it all, you’d want to say that you retired on your own terms. You don’t want to say that someone retired you.

He ends by asking Christian to finish the way he wants to and end his career on his own terms. If Edge can do it, so can he.
