Interacting with fans in a negative manner is a usual trick employed by heels to generate heat. And it seldom disappoints riling up the followers against a villainous character. Ronda Rousey is on the bad side nowadays, along with her teammate Shayna Baszler. Living up to her character, Rousey recently mocked a member of the live audience during her match.
The former UFC fighter entered the world of WWE back in 2018 amid much fanfare. While she made a ton of impact in her first run her second stint with the Stamford-based promotion has not gone as she planned. Rousey has constantly drawn the ire of fans for one reason or another.

‘The Baddest Women on the Planet’ teamed up with Baszler to take on the team of Natalya and Shotzi. One of the spots included Rousey locking Shotzi in an illegal hold near the turnbuckle. On being called out by a fan, she responded, “Can you do that? Of course, you can’t”, working up the crowd in a pure heel fashion. The former RAW Women’s champion and Baszler went on to pick up the win in the match.

Fans took notice of the incident via a clip posted by WWE’s Instagram account. They responded in numbers to the post and called out Rousey for her actions.

Not the only wrestler mocking a fan in recent times
Rousey is not the only WWE superstar to call out someone from the crowd recently. Lacey Evans also called out a heckler on SmackDown recently. The former Marine responded to the fan during her dominating win over Carmen Harress. She was near the turnbuckle when the incident happened.

Ronda Rousey calling out a fan may be a way for her to embrace her new character and get her frustrations out at the same time. If the recent incident is anything to go by, Rousey is willing to take on her detractors head-on. They would be thinking twice before messing with her again.
