The much-awaited WWE Crown Jewel event finally arrived in style! Its fully stacked match card kept the fans at the edge of their seats from start to finish. The event started with a bang, with the two heavyweights Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley going at each other fiercely. And the much-talked-about main event between Logan Paul and Roman Reigns did not disappoint the fans either. The topsy-turvy clash between the two was indeed the rollercoaster ride that fans had wished it would be.

Leading up to the match, it was the question of whether Paul, with his limited wrestling experience, could go on and put up a fight against The Tribal Chief.

The Maverick, like he so often does, just came up with the right set of goods. He kept his promise and brought a fight to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. And Reigns looked as perplexed as anyone with The Maverick’s impressive move-set on display during the match.

The match did feature a lot of outside interference courtesy of The Usos and not to forget an appearance by The Problem Child, Jake Paul, himself. However, it did not outshine some bright spots, including the hyped-up ‘one lucky shot’. And a memorable frog splash from ringside with a cell phone in hand from Paul. The Head of The Table did go on to win and retain his Championship thanks to the chaos at ringside.

It is hard to imagine that this was only the third wrestling match of Logan Paul’s career. The way he carried himself in the ring oozed a lot of confidence that only seasoned professionals possess. And the fans acknowledged his ring work prowess by taking to social media and passing on their verdict.

He did his wrestling credentials no harm.

The Maverick is the latest victim in Roman Reigns’ march to greatness. With an impressive 797 days Championship run, The Tribal Chief has surely etched his name in the wrestling royalty. However, Logan Paul’s impressive performance has shown how polished his in-ring work becomes match after match.

He does seem natural in the wrestling ring and has a lot to offer to the WWE. Paul’s performance even led fans to compare him with some of the most established names in the industry. And if his showing at the Crown Jewel is any evidence, he could go on to achieve so much more with the promotion.
