SummerSlam 2018 saw some heated encounters, but none as high profile as Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar. This rivalry had a three-year-long history and had gotten personal between the Superstars.

Roman Reigns gave it his all in the previous matches but never managed to pull off a victory against Lesnar. He came close at WrestleMania 31 but was interrupted by Seth Rollins who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and stole away the Championship.

Roman Reigns was about to brawl with Lesnar when a loud roar was heard. It didn’t take time for the crowd to realize that this match was going to be hijacked yet again. Out came Braun Strowman with his Money in the Bank contract!

Roman Reigns tried to finish the match off early

Strowman, however, did not make the match a triple threat. Instead, he sadistically decided to wait till the two Superstars beat the life out of each other, after which he would cash in his briefcase.

Realizing that he would potentially be facing two of the biggest men in WWE, Reigns attempted to finish Brock Lesnar early. As soon as the bell rang, “The Big Dog” delivered a Superman Punch to Lesnar.
