Braun Strowman has been a force of nature in the WWE. The massive, physically imposing Superstar has been rampaging through the WWE since winning the Universal Championship from Goldberg. However, Bray Wyatt may be the foe he needs, to be at his best as a performer.

Strowman and Wyatt have had a long and detailed history together. Strowman was a member of the Wyatt family, a period of time in his past he doesn’t like to discuss often. Strowman spoke about a dark and chilling memory with The Fiend, which ended in a challenge.

For the first time in my life, I felt fear. I’m not talking about the ‘bump in the night when you’re a child’ fear, I’m talking about the type of fear that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Twitter Erupts Over The Spine Chilling Segment Of Braun Strowman And Bray Wyatt

Strowman recollected a memory from when he was with Bray, when he encountered a snake in the swamp. That feeling you get in the pit of your stomach that something is wrong. The type of fear that makes a grown man tremble

Braun Strowman recollects a dark memory

Strowman tried to kill the snake, but Wyatt stopped him, saying that the snake was his friend. According to Braun, Bray approached the snake, when it sprung up and bit him in the face. Wyatt was, however, unfazed. He laughed as the snake repeatedly bit him over, and over and over. And in this instant, I knew that I was in the presence of evil.

This incident seems to have left a lasting impression on the Universal Champ. He didn’t bleed, he didn’t even flinch when it bit in him in the face. He just laughed. I knew, that bray Wyatt was the Devil himself. Strowman still worked with Wyatt, ignoring this obvious red flag.

Braun’s promo suddenly took on an extremely dark turn. He stated that he knew he did the Devil’s work with the Wyatt family but did it anyway. I had started to do the devil’s work. And the bad part about it all, I loved every second of it.

Strowman then outright challenged Wyatt to a fight at the old swamp. “I’m gonna drag you into the swamp and leave you for the alligators. Let’s go, because I’m ready to turn it into the place of your destruction. One more time Bray, let’s go home.

This new turn for Strowman is interesting, to say the least. With his extremely dark and brooding persona, Strowman may become an excellent heel in Smackdown.
