Bray Wyatt Teases Nexus Reunion With Wade Barrett

The Nexus is one of the most notorious groups in WWE history. They made quite a few headlines in the early 2010s. The group was supposed to make a return for a special cameo during former member Bray Wyatt and John Cena’s Firefly Fun House match.

Unfortunately, the return got canceled due to the pandemic. However, the leader of Nexus has returned to WWE. His return was quite suspicious, and Bray Wyatt agrees.

WWE announced last week that Wade Barrett would return to NXT as a commentator. Barrett returned this week and enjoyed his new role.

Fans were also happy to see Barett back to his roots. Bray Wyatt was also excited to see him. However, he seemed to have missed the memo of Barrett being a commentator.

In a recent tweet, Barrett thanked his fans and colleagues for the support. Bray asked him, “Are you here for that Nexus reunion thing?”

Barrett cheekily replied, “Only if I’m still allowed to be the leader.”

WWE Gives a Major Hint About Wade Barrett’s Future

Before Wyatt was “The Fiend,” he was a member of the Nexus under the name Husky Harris. The Firefly Fun House character, Huskus The Pig Boy, is a tribute to Wyatt’s Nexus past.

Both Barrett and Wyatt are happy in their new lives. Since their Nexus days, both the wrestlers established themselves in the company.

Barrett went on to become a five-time Intercontinental Champion and King Of  The Ring. As we know, Husky Harris took up the new gimmick of Bray Wyatt and became one of the company’s most decorated wrestlers. Wyatt is a three-time world champion and the current WWE Universal Champion.

Although it was unsure whether the commentary gig is permanent, Wade Barrett confirmed he would be returning to the NXT commentary team next week.
