In a recent post on Instagram, WWE confirmed some major news. The news put a lot of excitement. It turns out that Superstar Bray Wyatt will be making his return as “The Fiend” after all.

Months after the character was dropped, it has been brought back on popular request. Regarded as one of WWE’s best creations at the current time, “The Fiend” was grossly under-booked for its capabilities.

After his loss at Money in the Bank to Braun Strowman, we haven’t seen Bray Wyatt. His absence has left a void in that particular storyline. However, it was later revealed that his absence was for personAL reasons and not a part of the storyline.

Braun Strowman revived the storyline in a segment a couple of weeks ago. He called out Bray Wyatt to face him at a “Swamp Fight” for Extreme Rules.

Bray Wyatt will continue his storyline at Extreme Rules as “The Fiend”

The Swamp Fight will be shot in cinematic style and will be only the second of its kind. After the tremendous success of the Boneyard Match fought between The Undertaker and AJ Styles, WWE has decided to have at it again with this match.

Although we may not know the ramifications of the match clearly, the winner apparently is the one who throws his opponent to the crocodiles.

Many fans thought that Wyatt would be returning as himself to face Strowman at Extreme Rules and bring back “The Fiend” for the final showdown at SummerSlam or WrestleMania.

However, it seems like Bray Wyatt won’t spare Strowman the wrath of “The Fiend” at the Swamp Fight. There were a lot of positive reviews in the comments about this revelation.

This news makes the already big lineup at Extreme Rules much better. WWE aim at blasting through the viewership charts with the interesting stipulations planned for the show. We will have to wait and see who gets the upper hand in the storyline now.
