The Undertaker is one of the most respected and prominent WWE superstars of all time. Nobody, in their right mind, would ever want to do anything knowingly to disappoint The Deadman while they are around him.

However, a former WWE official recently shared about a plane incident where he thought Taker was angry with him.

Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz mentioned an incident in his new book ‘There’s Just One Problem…: True Tales from the Former, One-Time, 7th Most Powerful Person in WWE’. He wrote about how he thought The Undertaker was angry at him for sitting alone doing crossword puzzles and listening to music while traveling on Vince McMahon’s private jet.

He writes, “When the plane landed I was told Undertaker was very put off by my ‘standoffish attitude’.”

Gewirtz says he had faced Taker at the wrestler’s court previously. They weren’t close, but ”the Former, One-Time, 7th Most Powerful Person in WWE” thought there was some heat between him and Taker.

He didn’t want to be on the bad side of Taker, as it was not advisable as per other WWE stars. Gewirtz was able to handle the wrath of Mr. McMahon, but he wasn’t aware of how The Phenom would react.

After hours of thinking over the matter, the former WWE writer thought of one thing. Surprisingly, he had a plan which he wrote as, “I needed to kick The Undertaker in the balls. It was my only chance to save any face if we got in the flight.” That wasn’t a good choice, but Gewirtz thought of this plan when he met Taker.

How did The Undertaker tell when Brian Gewirtz appeared in front of him?

The former WWE writer wanted to avoid The Undertaker for the entire day. However, they eventually crossed paths in the hallways. Similarly, they stumbled upon again each other in the hall and Gewirtz finally asked Taker whether he was angry, but The Deadman gave him a good smile.

Gewirtz wrote about the conversation they had. The Undertaker said, “Hold on. You thought I was legitimately pi**ed?” Gewirtz said, “Yeah. Michael (Hayes) said….. “ Taker added, “Nah man, we’re cool. Believe me, if I was pi**ed……you would know it.”

This was a lesson for the former WWE writer who, after that, made sure he engages in conversation with the top officials while traveling. Gewirtz was glad he never tried his plan of physically attacking The Deadman.

Moreover, for a moment, Gewirtz also thought this was Vince McMahon’s plan to teach him airplane etiquette. The once seventh most powerful man in WWE then always kept his ears open while traveling with top officials in McMahon’s private jet.
