Keith Lee is one of the many names who departed from WWE and landed up in AEW. The former WWE superstar, who recently appeared on the latest edition of Talk is Jericho, discussed the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble with Jericho. At the pay-per-view Royal Rumble 2020, Brock Lesnar eliminated the first twelve contenders all by himself and was on a roll.
When the former NXT North American Champion entered the bout as the 13th entrant, The Beast Incarnate seemed impressed by Lee’s size.

While neither ‘The Limitless One’ nor ‘The Beast’ won the Royal Rumble 2020, their showcase remains one of the memorable moments of the match.

On the ‘Talk is Jericho’ podcast, Keith Lee stated that Lesnar had initially agreed to many ideas by the creative backstage. Although, when Brock Lesnar stepped inside the Rumble, he flipped around the WWE plans and created chaos.

The AEW star knew the WWE wanted a moment between Brock and himself inside the ring. So when ‘The Beast Incarnate’ flipped all the plans by the creative, Lee stepped against Lesnar and delighted the WWE Universe.

“I get there, and it’s like, ‘Oh he wants to work, okay, we’ll make it a show.’ You can feel it. He’s big selling me coming down and stuff, and I’m like, ‘That guy just did more for me in four seconds than just about anybody can,'” said Lee. (h/t WrestlingINC)
