The WrestleMania Backlash event was epic! And one of the main matches between the two most prominent women in WWE couldn’t have been more thrilling than this. The SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair locked horns with The Baddest Woman on Earth, Ronda Rousey, for an ‘I Quit’ match to settle the scores from WrestleMania 38. And unlike the Most Stupendous Event, Rousey could finally show her baby daughter the “family business of a** kicking.”

The Rowdy One made her massive comeback to the ring, after taking some time off to start a family. Last September, she gave birth to her baby daughter La’akea. Sooner than expected, Ronda Rousey made an astonishing return at Royal Rumble 2022, entering as No: 28 in the 30-women match, and eliminated Charlotte Flair winning the Battle Royal as well.

Further, her come back angle progressed; she challenged Flair in the WrestleMania 38. But had to lose to The Queen’s dominance. However, since day 1 of the Flair vs Rousey angle, it has been all about their ‘babies’, a little girl for Rousey and the SmackDown women’s title for Flair. And they fought for their goal with utmost fieriness as well.

Ronda Rousey pins down Flair in the “I Quit” match on the Mother’s Day

WrestleMania Backlash witnessed a far more competitive clash of titans for the Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair angle, compared to the WrestleMania 38. In the end, the former UFC champion once again won a WWE title as she beat The Queen for the SmackDown Women’s Title at Providence, R.I. at Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

Moreover, the match saw a thrilling brawl between the two superstars that involved kendo sticks, the iconic steel chairs, and even some other weapons, including a camera at one point. The two fiery ladies dragged the chaos into the arena as well. Also, the fans cheered “we want table” seeing them power bomb into the barricades.

Still, none of them was ready to say ‘I Quit’. After all the wrings and crashes on the floor, Charlotte Flair locked Rousey in a figure-eight with the assist of the steel chair. But The Queen evoked the strongest fighter in the universe in the Rowdy One, when she said “Happy Mother’s Day”.

Rousey knew Flair was going to say this, and she applied it back with a bit more intensity. The Queen finally quitted and handed over her ‘baby’, the title to the Rousey. Also, Flair ended up with a distal radius fracture. In a nutshell, it was the perfect result on a Mother’s Day.
