In his recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Mexican-American wrestler stated that all the controversy was just to create some real money, and he has no real-life heat with Rey Mysterio. Guerrero said that it all started when he commented on Mysterio during the ‘Virtual Signing with Captain’s Corner’ just like he used to do during his professional wrestling days and fans took it otherwise.

Talking about the incident, Guerrero said, “Look… I’ve said it before and Vince 100% believes this just like Jerry Jarrett [did as well]. Real issues create real money. I did a virtual signing from Nick with Captain’s Corner and uh, and somebody asked if I was happy about Rey Mysterio coming out at WrestleMania…….I just start playing with it a little bit like I’ve done…….So I said that and kind of tongue in cheek… We kind of laughed talking about how Dominik is probably a Guerrero and it was 100% sarcasm.”

His comment on Rey Mysterio went viral and fans turned against him. But instead of clearing it, Guerrero decided to take it a step further.

“Nick Hausman texts me and goes ‘Hey man, your stuff is all over the news’…….. I literally was kind of being tongue in cheek on it….. I texted him back and [told him] to watch my next tweet. So that’s when I sent this last tweet about him……. People just started going nuts and going crazy. So finally, after I started messing with them, I hook, line, and sinker, that’s always being a heel.”
