Chelsea Green Finally Breaks Silence After Injury on WWE SmackDown

Chelsea Green had a very edgy debut on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. After a much-awaited appearance on the main roster, fans expected her to make it big on her debut.

However, in her first fight in the Fatal 4-way Qualification match for Survivor Series, Green picked up an upsetting wrist injury that put her out of action prematurely.

WWE issued an official statement later, informing fans about her condition. The company confirmed that Green had suffered a broken wrist and would be out of action until further notice.

In a recent post on Twitter, Chelsea Green spoke to fans for the first time since the incident. She assured the WWE Universe that this injury was just a minor setback. She will be making a return to SmackDown upon her recovery.

Green has been dynamite in the box for WWE. Shining in NXT, fans fully expected her to make a huge run happen on the main roster. However, she has been plagued with such injuries.

WWE confirmed in the brief injury report that she had been taken to the hospital for further checks. Green later shared a picture of herself in a hospital bed on Instagram. The pictures also showed X-Rays of her broken wrist.

At first, WWE received a lot of criticism for making her lose on her debut. Chelsea was out of the ring for the better part of the match. Liv Morgan picked up the win and became the final member of Team SmackDown heading into Survivor Series.

The cause for her injury could be the drop-kick she received that sent her out of the ring. It could also probably be the fall after the dropkick.

On her return, we can expect a major push for Green and possibly a run with the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Right now, WWE can focus on settling the Sasha Banks vs Bayley feud which has seen interference from a returning Carmella.
