There is a lot of discussion following the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown on Superstar Chelsea Green. The former NXT star made her much-awaited return to the main roster and took part in the Fatal four-way Survivor Series Qualification match.

However, a few minutes into the match, Green was drop-kicked out of the ring and spent the rest of her match there while Liv Morgan pinned Natalya for the win.

Liv will now be the final member of Team SmackDown for Survivor Series. This came as a shock as many expected Chelsea Green to pick up the victory on her debut.

While fans are criticizing WWE for this creative decision, we have just received news that Green had suffered an injury during the match, which is why she was kept out of the better half of it.

According to Sports Journalist Sean Ross Sapp, Chelsea Green broke her wrist while performing which ruled her out of the fight. This also explains why she was sidelined for the climax.

WWE released an official statement on Chelsea Green’s injury

WWE later released an official statement informing fans of the injury. The company added that she was immediately taken to the hospital for further checks.

The moment probably came during the dropkick that sent her outside the ring. However, the fall may have also been the cause.

There were a lot of hopes that she would dominate the match on SmackDown and head on to Survivor Series. Unfortunately, this will not happen.

We hope Green recovers soon and gets back to that top form. Until then, she will just have to sit out a little while longer.
