As a result, the AEW star takes to Twitter to announce that his former Smoky Mountain Wrestling Boss is under suspension. Jericho bans him from watching all future episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark.
He signed off the tweet using his latest moniker #DemoGod.
I am officially banning @TheJimCornette from watching any & all future episodes of #AEWDynamite & #AEWDark. He is under @AEWrestling suspension until further notice. Thank you. #DemoGod

However, how Jericho plans to implement this ban is still a mystery. Of course, there is a good chance he will put his money where his mouth is.
Jericho is known for bringing his social media feuds to TV. Cornette might be in for an earful.
Cornette takes a dig at the AEW star’s recent activities
Now, Jim Cornette has responded to this ban by taking subtle yet strong digs at Jericho’s irresponsible actions.
So, Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy was playing a concert in front of a packed group of biker audiences at Sturgis. This was during the last weekend.
Unfortunately, there was no concern for the COVID-19 pandemic. Neither the protocol of wearing masks was followed nor was there any form of social distancing.
Jim Cornette responds to Jericho’s tweet by saying that he does what he does for the wrestling community. However, he has no interest in watching any AEW episodes.
Cornette ended the tweet by taking a swift jab at Jericho’s moniker #DemoGod by using the hashtag #COVIDGod.
Chris I appreciate your consideration of my sanity, but I do it as a service to the wrestling fans. They need some measure of comfort in these cosplay times we're in. But don't worry–I NEVER watch "Dark".
P.S. Careful of the drooling bikers. #LittleBitOfTheVirus#COVIDGod https://t.co/MR5uv8kqBW— Jim Cornette (@TheJimCornette) August 10, 2020
In fact, wrestling fans have reacted negatively towards Jericho’s irresponsible behaviour.
As of now, Jericho hasn’t had a comeback to Cornette’s Twitter attack.
Not only did Jim Cornette respond to Chris Jericho’s tweet, but also Cornette’s co-host Brian Last had something to say. He is of the opinion that Jericho should have waited before putting out such a bold tweet.

Looks like Jericho started early today. He probably should have waited until after I release tomorrow’s Drive Thru, where we talk about how stupid he is for playing concerts during a pandemic. PS – we don’t watch the shitty YouTube show. #alittlebitofthevirus https://t.co/H3JxfJDNnS

It seems as though Jim Cornette and Brian Last will be discussing Chris Jericho’s Sturgis performance during their next podcast.
