Cody Rhodes Discloses Wife Brandi Rhodes’ Behind the Scenes Role in His ‘Unrealistic’ Comeback at Royal Rumble 2023: ‘You’ll Be Disappointed in Yourself’
Wrestling star Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly in love with WWE. The 37-year-old has done a lot for the promotion. Despite several ups and downs, Rhodes always finds a way back home to his favorite wrestling promotion. The wrestler became a free agent back in 2021 when he started working for AWE or All Elite Wrestling. Then, in a golden moment, he surprised fans with his ultimate WWE return in 2022. However, the re-entry proved to be unlucky for him. Following his return, Cody Rhodes tore his pectoral muscles in a wrestling match in 2022. The popular ‘Hell in a Cell’ match was against Seth Rollins. Despite the tear in his pectoral muscles, Rhodes carried on to wrestle till the very end.
As one would expect, the results of his bravery would not be beneficial for him. The problem was serious, and the wrestler had to rest again. This entry and then the sudden exit upset ‘Stardust’ a lot. He was probably not about to return to WWE, but his wife made sure the story stays otherwise. In a recent interview, Rhodes sat along with another WWE star, Grayson Waller, and announced that he would be making a return yet again in the year 2023.

Cody Rhodes shares the real reason behind his 2023 return
The torn that the wrestler got looked pretty bad. Fans only expected Rhodes to retire from wrestling altogether. This wasn’t because of the injury in particular, but because Rhodes himself found this to be embarrassing. However, the love of his life made sure that he does not descend on a path of no return. “Probably 3 months in the recovery. I had this moment with my wife,” Rhodes started with his story. The ‘Raw’ superstar compared the moment with his “beautiful wife” to the “beach scene” in the movie, ‘Rocky 3’.
