The Undertaker, in his 30-year career, never broke his character. The Deadman was adamant to keep the aura and mystic of The Undertaker alive throughout his career. Even in the latter part of his career, when he started doing public appearances, he tried to maintain the character.

It was very rare to see The Undertaker in any other outfits, as he mainly wore only black-colored clothes. However, since his retirement, we have seen The Deadman in different outfits. Recently, The Undertaker along with Michelle McCool and Stephanie McMahon represented WWE at National Medal Honor Museum.

However, The Phenom was seen in a suit at the Honor Museum. He shared some of his pictures from his visit on Instagram. He looked amazing in his new formal look.

How did The Undertaker prepare to make his gimmick different?

Recently The Undertaker appeared in an interview of WWE Fox YouTube on Out of Character with Ryan Satin. The Undertaker stated that when he thought his character had gotten the exposure; he was the character full time. 

The Deadman studied The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, and Jake the Snake Roberts in the ring. Then he tried to present something different from every stereotypical thing we think about a professional wrestler. He mainly studied dark movie characters like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers.

Taker talked about how it was easier to keep kayfabe alive back then, as there was no social media and no cell phones. Fans didn’t record him wherever he was seen.
