While he currently does not hold any titles in the promotion, he still makes the most money, as per reports. Lesnar’s exploits, however, aren’t just limited to pro-wrestling. He is also known for his time in the UFC and a short-lived career in the NFL. Apart from that, the 45-year-old was a reputed wrestler in college.

Soon after WrestleMania 20 in 2004, Lesnar left the WWE for a career in the NFL. Even though he last played football in college, Lesnar still managed to get a team as The Minnesota Vikings signed him. But before that, he was involved in an accident, which ultimately hindered his progress and limited his appearances to preseason games.

According to Over The Cap, Lesnar, who played as an interior defensive lineman, made no money during his time in the league. This is because he never got to play a match. The Vikings released Lesnar on August 30, just a month after signing him. Later, he moved to NJPW, a Japanese pro-wrestling promotion, and won the heavyweight championship there.

He, however, wasn’t satisfied with pro wrestling and moved to mixed martial arts. Lesnar’s MMA debut was in Hero’s, another Japanese promotion, in 2007. The following year, he signed with MMA giant UFC.

It’s interesting to note that he made the most money in UFC in his last bout, a then-record $2.5 million. But how much did he make overall? Let’s find out.

Multi-million dollar WWE contact, millions from UFC: Decoding Brock Lesnar’s $25 million net worth

Lesnar is one of the richest pro wrestlers, behind colleagues Dwayne Johnson ($800M) and John Cena ($80M). While the other two have sources of income from Hollywood movies, Lesnar actually makes most of his money from the WWE. According to 888 Sport, the Stamford-based promotion pays the 45-year-old a whopping $5.04 million. He is also the highest-paid WWE superstar currently, closely followed by Roman Reigns ($5.02 million).

During his time in the UFC, he made career earnings of $5,295,000, according to The Sports Daily. Lesnar’s first match with UFC legend Frank Mir at UFC 81 made him $250,000. Over the course of time, his collection averaged $400,000. As mentioned, he made $2.5 million from his bout with Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in 2016. However, Lesnar was fined $250,000 for failing a drug test but made $5,000 extra from his Reebok sponsorship.

Currently, he is a free agent in WWE, which allows him to appear in any brand- RAW and SmackDown. As per the storyline, he’s engaged in a feud with top babyface Cody Rhodes and is likely to continue locking horns with The American Nightmare for a few more months, at least. Lesnar and Rhodes’ score currently stands at one all and they would want another match to settle the feud and claim bragging rights.
