Over the years, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has done more than 40 movies in his illustrious Hollywood career. The types of roles many directors offer him are mainly action-oriented and also contain references to his WWE character, The Rock.

Currently, Johnson is all set to make his debut in superhero verse in October with his solo DC film, Black Adam. The Great One is excited about his superhero movie debut. Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi might just have dragged “The Rock” into MCU before DCEU.

Last weekend, the fourth installment of Marvel’s Thor franchise, Thor: Love and Thunder, was released. In the movie, the Asgardian hero embarks on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced, a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods.

In the end of the movie, it seemed as director Taika Waititi, who is also giving voice as a character named Korg, referred to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the MCU. Korg is narrating how life went ahead for all the characters after Christian Bale’s Gorr sacrificed himself to bring his daughter back to life. Here, Korg talked about marrying a fellow ‘Kronan’.

The Kronans are a species in Marvel Comics which are made up of rock. Surprisingly, the Kronan who Korg marries in the movie is named ‘Dwayne’. In this way, Waititi implied the hilarious pun of ‘Dwayne “The Rock” character in the movie.

Moreover, Korg, in his previous movie appearance, had a friend named Miek who had blades in exoskeleton. Furthermore, although Dwayne “The Rock” character has not had a major role and is already portrayed by Dave Cory, it would be great to see the former WWE champ play a role in MCU.
