Dave Bautista is slowly but steadily earning the plaudits for his work in Hollywood. He is especially praised for his unique role choices. There is a tendency for wrestlers-turned-actors to go into a particular mold and it sure is enough to get a heavy paycheck. But Bautista, to his credit, has not swayed from his philosophy a tad bit. He was seen in the Netflix movie Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery this year. The Animal’s character work in the film earned rave reviews.

 He has recently revealed sound words of wisdom he received from a WWE legend in the past before he ventured full time into Hollywood.

The former WWE champion enjoyed a stellar career in the sports entertainment world. In an interaction with GQ, Bautista opened up about the advice he received from WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin regarding working in Hollywood.

Batista said, “Before I left WWE, Stone Cold Steve Austin pulled me aside and said, ‘You’re going to get offers for horrible scripts. The money will be tempting. Don’t get caught in that trap.”

However, Bautista opened up on the injustice done by the WWE when it came to his treatment as compared to Cena.

He is turning out to be a great export from the world of wrestling. Bautista refusing the big bucks in order to focus on his craft displays his immense courage.
