Chris Rock has come out with another installment of his standup comedy special and it is called ‘Selective Outrage.’ The new stand-up comedy special is noteworthy as it is the first-ever massive global event that was streamed live on Netflix.
This is Rock’s second standup comedy special on the streaming platform. The first was Tamborine, which was released on February 14, 2018. His ‘Selective Outrage’ global comedy event took place on March 4, Saturday night at Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. The live show has garnered a lot of attention.
Nevertheless, the show was so mesmerizing that even a WWE personality wants to be a part of it now.

Kayla Braxton from WWE wants to join Chris Rock’s writing team
After watching Rock’s new Netflix comedy special, Kayla Braxton went on to Twitter to express her views on the show. She stated she enjoyed the new comedy show very much. In addition, she also expressed her desire to be a part of the Rock’s writing team for the show.

The show definitely made a positive impression on her and now the broadcaster wants to work with one of the most iconic stand-up comedians of today’s era. Rock made the comedy special memorable for several fans, including Braxton, with his dig at the Smiths.
Chris Rock took a dig at Will Smith and Jada Smith
Fans from all around the world heard the echo of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars in March 2022 last year. It was because the latter had made a joke about the former’s wife, which Smith did not enjoy. The joke was about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head. The Hollywood star retaliated aggressively, bringing about a tide of controversy.
Though Smith had apologized for his aggressive behavior later, Rock had kept his silence. But finally, he brokee his silence and hit back at Smith with his humor attacks in his latest Netflix special.

In Rock’s Selective Outrage, he not only took a shot at Will Smith but also his wife. Some comments on extra-marital affairs were made at the expense of Jada Smith, though from a purely comedic standpoint. During the event, fans also saw the comedian picking a couple of NBA stars from the team of Golden State Warriors as his new targets.
The two athletes that became the victim of Rock’s jokes were none other than Draymond Green and Stephen Curry.
