Strowman didn’t take too kindly to this insult and warned McIntyre that he hadn’t forgotten about it. In fact, he challenged McIntyre to a Champion vs Champion showdown at WrestleMania.

The winner would of course go on to become the undisputed Champion of the WWE. McIntyre certainly liked the idea as indicated by his reaction.

While the prospects of the clash are certainly mouth-watering, the chances are not very good. For one, it’s very difficult that Strowman and McIntyre both retain their titles until WrestleMania.

Both have worthy opponents lined up on their respective brands. With TV ratings taking a nosedive, Vince might change his Champions sooner rather than later.

However, there is one point in the very near future where we might see this collision. I’m talking about Survivor Series. With the recent trend of the pay-per view, it’s become some sort of a tradition to see the top champions from Raw and SmackDown collide.

We might finally get to see the two faceoff on that occasion. As proven in the past, they have incredible in-ring chemistry and can deliver a highly entertaining bout.
