“I Want to Be The First One That Walks Out There”- WWE Champion Reveals His Plans For Live Audience
In a recent interview, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre opened up about his desires concerning the return of performances with a live gate.
Winning his championship at WrestleMania a little over two months ago, McIntyre expresses how he doesn’t feel much about it.
He claims that he is thrilled to have won the championship from such a big opponent but it means little when there’s no one to celebrate it with.

The absence of the fans is one of the major vacuums in WWE. The matches just aren’t the same. There are no reactions, cheers, boos and the entire atmosphere dulls down. “I can’t wait for that moment until everybody can get back together,” Drew said.
Drew McIntyre is the first one to actually express his thoughts on that. McIntyre wishes to walk down the ramp as champion at least once with all the fans there to see him.
The reason McIntyre suddenly opened up about this issue is simple. He will have to go face-to-face with an unstoppable Lashley at Backlash and somehow defend his title.
If he comes out of that he may face another big opponent at Summerslam, possibly a returning Brock Lesnar. McIntyre realizes that his reign may end before the lockdown is lifted and this troubles him.
Drew McIntyre misses the roar of the crowd
“I want to be the first one that walks out there,” says McIntyre. When the quarantine is lifted and the crowds fill up the stands, McIntyre has made it clear that he wants to be the first superstar to walk out towards the ring and embrace the cheers of the fans once again.
