WWE Superstars in Hollywood movies are not fresh news. Over the years, many Superstars have made the transition into the movies, while others worked in one from time to time. The latest entry into the list would be Stu Bennett, aka, Wade Barrett, starring in ‘I Am Vengeance: Retaliation’. Barret on Twitter posted how great he felt cosplaying Roman Reigns in the set.

The image which Barrett posted had him delivering Reigns’ signature move ‘Superman punch’. Roman Reigns replied to the Tweet congratulating Barrett. He also mentioned how he is eager to watch the new movie.

*Spoiler Alert* For those who haven’t watched the movie. The movie opened to mixed reviews, but critics have revealed that the movie is an appealing watch for action movie buffs.

Wade Barrett a Hollywood star on the rise?

He had previously been a part of WWE studio’s movie ‘Eliminators’.

His latest movie has brought in a lot of mild praise. Variety noted, “Bennett has sufficient comic chops to occasionally undercut Gold’s macho with self-parody”

Could Barrett follow in the footsteps of The Rock or would he make a bigger name for himself? Only time will tell.

Roman Reigns has been absent from live television for a while. He was to face Goldberg at WrestleMania 36, but pulled out of the match and was replaced by Braun Strowman who became the new WWE Universal Champion.

He has addressed his fans several times stating he is taking time off for his family and not over health concerns. Reigns have not yet revealed a possible return date. However, he is likely to return before the next big Pay-Per-View, Summerslam.

Once Reigns returns, he could face Strowman for the title shot that he had missed out on. Fans do miss seeing the Big Dog in the ring, and watching him throw a Superman punch would be worth more now than ever before.
