Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock Finally Shares One of His Little Known Secrets to the World

As Dwayne Johnson has been a public figure and megastar for over 2 decades, there are many things people know about him, as The People’s Champ often tells it publicly. Likewise, in a recent tweet, The Rock once more revealed one of his secrets. 

DJ had dominated the pro wrestling world before becoming a Hollywood megastar, just like his lineage. It goes without saying that, coming from a wrestling background, wrestling greats like Pat Patterson had a significant influence on him. And The Rock now mentioned another legendary figure who he held in high regard.

In a recent tweet, Johnson shared a famous clip of “Macho Man” Randy Savage, where he wonderfully explains a definition of Macho Maniac. Additionally, in the 1980s and 1990s, Macho Man was the biggest name in wrestling due to the persona he upheld. In light of this, The Rock recently shared a secret that he was a boyhood fan of Savage.

Regarding how he maintains the macho man persona and does Macho Man tears, Savage was questioned in the video. He responds to that, “It’s okay for Macho Man to show every emotion available right there. You know, because I have cried thousands of times, I’m gonna cry some more.”

He goes on to say that he has soared with eagles and slithered with snakes. Thus, he understands that nobody loves a quitter and that no one’s life is simple. Therefore, if someone is knocked down, they should take the standing 8-count and get back up to continue fighting, as that is what it means to be a Macho Maniac.

The Rock seemed to be a proud Macho Maniac after hearing this response, which made him admire Macho Man passionately.

Everyone seems to be aware that Johnson was a major fan of Bret Hart, Bruno Sammartino, and some other superstars. However, the fact that DJ has loved Macho Man since he was a child was little known outside of his diehard fans.

DJ’s most recent post underlines why he was such a fan of him. Because, like him, Macho Man wasn’t shy about expressing his emotions. Additionally, it appears that he had adopted Savage’s approach to getting back up after being knocked down.
