According to Den Of Geek, The Great One frequently noted during the trailer release that the notion of the family served as an inspiration. In case you missed it, the movie’s first official trailer showed Adam’s son sacrificing his life to save his father.

In light of that, he stated, “Having someone who was so dead set in his ways, who has a code, but the other side of that code is death if you f**k with his family. [H/T: Den of Geek]

It is well known that The Rock places high importance on his family and feels a strong connection to his Samoan heritage. The same applies to how the family is what helped him connect with his character. Adding to this argument, Black Adam’s director, Jaume Collet-Serra, also said, “That’s a big element of this movie, how important family is.”

The family seems to be the center of most of the film. Watching what he has to offer with his Black Adam character will undoubtedly be intriguing.
