Dwayne Johnson’s former wife and current business partner, Dany Garcia, was left unsatisfied with a development pertaining to their daughter, NXT star Ava Raine. The 21-year-old Raine, who first appeared in WWE’s developmental brand in October 2022, just had her first televised match. Despite her daughter’s major milestone, Garcia could not help but complain about an issue that she noticed ahead of the match. The dissatisfaction was subtly directed toward the WWE Universe.

Dany Garcia disputes WWE findings

Of late, the businesswoman has taken an active interest in the WWE. She now regularly posts stories about her daughter’s exploits in the company. Garcia, in the recent past, had taken offense at how her daughter was attacked by a 31-year-old female wrestler. She also posted about the same on Instagram.

Now, the 54-year-old posted another story, where she disapproved of the findings of a poll conducted by the WWE. The Stamford-based promotion had announced a match between Diamond Mine and Schism. Raine, since her NXT debut, has been a part of Schism. Last month, she got involved in a feud with 31-year-old Ivy Nile of Diamond Mine. The two had traded blows in the past outside the ring. This match was a chance to have a proper duel.

WWE asked fans who they thought was the favorite to win and almost 60 percent of the WWE Universe voted in favor of Diamond Mine. Seeing her daughter trailing ahead of the match, Garcia shared a screenshot of the poll results on her Instagram story and commented: “And I dispute these finding”. However, hours later, she expressed an uncommon emotion.

Ava Raine left ex-wife of Dwayne Johnson teary-eyed

The pre-match poll result failed to materialize as Raine and The Dyad picked up their win over Diamond Mine. It was Raine who landed the final blow to her current nemesis, Nile. After getting out of Nile’s dragon sleeper, Raine used a metal mask to headbutt her opponent to pick up the win.

Though one can question her tactics, she left the ring as a winner. On the other hand, seeing her daughter prevail, Garcia shared two more stories on Instagram. The victory left her teary-eyed. “Ava goes over. 1st TV Win,” the proud mother wrote, followed by an emoji.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen where the feud heads next. Nile, who is known for her tenacity, will surely like to get back to her 21-year-old, especially after the nature of her loss. For that, however, fans would have to wait for the future. So, what’s your take on Dany Garcia’s complaint? Let us know in the comments.
