Dwayne Johnson’s Legendary Father Reveals How His $800 Million Worth Son Lost ‘Two Hundred Thousand a Day’ After His WrestleMania Match Against John Cena

Before becoming a pro wrestler, Dwayne Johnson was a football player trying out his luck in Canada. He was a talented football player but could not make it big in the leagues.

After that, he decided to make a career in pro wrestling like the rest of his family. Johnson then went on to become one of the greatest pro wrestlers in WWE and the world. He won several championships during his stay and was also involved in various high-profile feuds. He currently is one of the highest-paid actors in the world.

During an interview with Hannibal TV, The Rock’s father Rocky Johnson opened up about his son. At one point, the interviewer asked him if The Rock was done with the wrestling business. To that, his father answered, “Yeah! He’ll be crazy and I told him that. And like he said, he likes to meet the guys, talk to him, help him, but first, you get in the ring while in his contract, he can’t anyway.”

Rocky Johnson then explained why The Rock cannot get back in the ring. He said, “Because the last time, he wrestled Cena at WrestleMania, he got a hernia. And he had to have emergency surgery. They had to shut the set down for three weeks, it cost him two hundred thousand dollars a day.”

“So, come watch the movie, so they are putting this in the contract. That’s it. Now you either say no, go back to wrestling or you stay in movies. Now, he has two companies, and he’s doing very well.”

Dwayne Johnson’s father, Rocky Johnson, was himself a wrestling legend and earned several accolades and accomplishments to his name. Both the father and son combination created several records during their career.

Speaking with The Hannibal TV, Johnson gave an insight into the ‘pull his tongue out’ situation. He said, “oh yeah! He almost killed Heartbreak Kid and then he got into fighting the football team. I mean, he got on his own players and he’s trying to pull his tongue out.”

Rocky Johnson detailed everything about the whole incident. He stated the reason his son lost cool and did that was that, after his team lost the game, they blamed it on him. He claimed that was not at fault, but still apologized.
