WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson has achieved a great name outside wrestling. After taking a break from the WWE, The Rock went to Hollywood to make his name in movies like Netflix’s Red Notice, Disney’s Jungle Cruise, and many more. Dwayne Johnson has an upcoming project in which he is playing DC’s anti-hero, Black Adam.

But we may have missed Dwayne Johnson playing a cameo in a movie with the Canadian actor, Ryan Reynolds. Last year, Disney+ released a film on their platform named ‘Free Guy.’ The movie’s lead stars Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, and Taika Waititi.

The story revolves around an ordinary guy who is unaware that he is a part of a video game. Ryan Reynolds’ character then decides to make his move by himself and become the hero of his own story.

What was Dwayne Johnson’s Cameo?

Free Guy (Ryan Reynolds) has a lot of messing up in the movie’s first half when he is trying to figure out that a regular guy can do anything with his powers. During the bank heist scene, a bank robber rolls in the scene wearing a sky blue suit, a skull mask, and a hat matching his suit.

Free Guys’ first reaction to the robber is ignorant as scripted. However, Ryan‘s character accidentally shoots the blue suit robber in an attempt to steal his glasses.

Who does Dwayne Johnson play in Free Guy?

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays the character of a bank robber. Johnson’s character in the movie was introduced in the gaming elements of Free Guy’s world. The fans can finally see The Rock’s cameo in the movie. In a sky blue suit and skull mask, the bank robber threatens Free Guy.

Bank robber tells Guy, “I’m the robber; you’re the guy who lays down and takes it.” Yes, the voice of the character is none other than Dwayne Johnson! However, Dwayne Johnson’s character is short-lived by Free Guy (Ryan Reynolds), as he by mistakenly pulls the trigger on the blue blazer robber.

Hollywood Megastar Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds share a special bond off-screen. They first met each other at MTV’s Spring Break in 2002. Both the actors were there to promote their first feature films – Dwayne Johnson’s “The Scorpion King” and Ryan Reynolds’ “Van Wilder.”

Ultimately, Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, almost after 20 years, did a movie together with Gal Gadot, called Red Notice.
