Edge Returns at SummerSlam to Save WWE Legend From Injury, Gets His Revenge on The Judgement Day

The return of the WWE Hall of Famer Edge to confront The Judgement Day was decided when Finn Balor kicked him out of the group. And, as per the expectations of the fans, ‘The Rated R Superstar’ made his presence felt to his former stable at SummerSlam.

Edge helped The Mysterios to win the match. The former world champion returned with a new incarnation. He had a new entrance which was similar to The Brood entrance.

Edge ran towards the ring and attacked Damien Priest on the ramp. He connected Balor with a spear, following the same move on Priest in the ring. The Mysterios then took the victory after connecting with the iconic 619. It seems moving forward, Edge will team up Rey and Dominick Mysterio to feud with The Judgement Day.

Edge had embraced a dark incarnation of himself prior to WrestleMania 37 when he was feuding with AJ Styles. He took Damien Priest under his wing and later Rhea Ripley also joined the group. However, the fourth member, Finn Balor, joined the group and quickly took over the leadership of The Judgement Day.

The fans went berserk as Edge ran down the ramp to save The Mysterios. The fans expressed their over the top emotions on twitter. It seems fans are ready to experience this new version of The Rated-R superstar on the WWE TV once again.

As seen at SummerSlam, Edge returned with a new gimmick which is close resemblance to The Brood character. The main angle on which Edge will be is around The Judgement Day. Moreover, the Ultimate Opportunist will confront his former stable and the current leader, Finn Balor.

As per the reports, Edge and Balor will have a singles match at WWE UK Premium Live Event, Clash at the Castle in the month of September. Furthermore, The Mysterios are expected to be partnering with the Hall of Famer going forward to continue their feud.
