Wrestlers beefing up with commentators is not uncommon in the WWE. There have been incidents in the past where the performers have taken out their frustrations on the seemingly harmless announcers. Legends such as Kane and The Rock have targeted the commentary team in the past. It might be something they say or their actions that may rile up the wrestlers sometimes.
WWE announcer Michael Cole has been a legend in his own right. As part of the promotion for almost 25 years now, he knows the ins and outs of the business. But Cole’s recent comments regarding Rhea Ripley might have gotten him on her hit list.

She has aligned herself with the heel faction, The Judgement Day, in recent times. The Australian has been constantly interfering and picking up assists along the way. Her great heel work has gone on to draw a lot of heat from the fans.
However, Ripley’s amazing feats of strength have also garnered a lot of praise from all quarters. On an episode of Raw, she body-slammed a heavyweight like Luke Gallows with ease.
