Former WWE Superstar Thanks John Cena for “Teaching Him How to Wrestle”

John Cena has added several accolades to his resume during his time with the WWE. He continues to be one of the most famed Superstars within the company.

Now, a particular former WWE Superstar has come forth with a surprising revelation about John Cena.

Rusev reveals the teachings of John Cena

Rusev, who is going by the name Miro now, is crediting Cena with teaching him everything he knows. In his words – “every single thing”.

During his time on the Ryback Show, Miro/Rusev reveals how his time on the main roster with John Cena really helped with his performance.

Cena helped Miro understand the crowd, the timing, and other aspects which help a Superstar become better.

Miro is of the opinion that there’s a clear difference between Superstars who have worked with him and who haven’t.

“You can tell that there are people who work with him, their timing versus the people who never work with him, and it’s such a difference. I feel so blessed working with him. And even to this day… every day, I give thanks to John for teaching me how to wrestle.”

Not only did Cena help Miro with his wrestling, but also advices him to this day about other things as well.

For example, Miro reveals how Cena was the one who advised him to purchase the Maserati that he flaunts now.

Even to this day, Miro and John Cena are in constant touch. One of the primary reasons that Miro respects John Cena is because he never puts someone on the sides. If one asks Cena for advise, one will definitely receive it.

“He texted me the other day that I look great – because we still text to this day. And John, I think we have a great relationship, and I always wanted him to be kind of like my mentor. I always talked to him because who else knows better, you know, than John Cena? The guy who’s probably the greatest superstar of all time after Hulk Hogan.”
