Bayley and the Riott Squad teamed up at Survivor Series 2020 to battle Team Raw. They were valuable additions to Team SmackDown and were crucial in keeping Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at bay.

Liv Morgan picked up one elimination at Survivor Series. She did so in a very impressive way, taking down Lacey Evans with a perfect crucifix bomb. Riott was eliminated by Shayna Baszler in a controversial fashion. However, she put on an amazing performance.

The Riott Squad’s run in WWE

The Riott Squad debuted in 2017 on SmackDown. Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan made a big statement by attacking Becky Lynch and Naomi in their first appearance.

The trio would continue to be a nuisance on SmackDown, and Riott even received a title shot against Charlotte Flair at Fastlane 2018.

After the Riott Squad were drafted to Raw, things started to go south for them. They debuted on Raw by attacking Sasha Banks and Bayley, but a knee injury to Riott prevented that rivalry from building any further.

Riott returned in August, and the trio went on to have an excellent match at Evolution against Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya.

Riott received her biggest opportunity in WWE, when she faced Ronda Rousey at Elimination Chamber 2019. Unfortunately, Rousey destroyed Riott in less than two minutes. From here onwards, the Riott Squad were more or less forgotten about, until they disbanded in the Superstar Shake-up. WWE released Sarah Logan from her contract.

The former ‘Hugger’ has been the MVP of the women’s division for 2020. Alongside Sasha Banks, the Golden Role Models were the most dominant Superstars in the women’s division.

For about two months, Banks and Bayley held every active women’s championship at the same time.

Bayley turned on Banks after Payback, and triggered an amazing feud that would culminate at Hell in a Cell. The duo fought in a tremendous back and forth battle, complete with innovative spots, amazing storytelling and a satisfying finish.

Sasha Banks may have won the title, but Bayley is still an important asset for SmackDown. This shoutout to the Riott Squad could be a sign of things to come. If Bayley becomes the third member of the Riott Squad, do not be surprised.
