It is secret to none that this will be Goldberg’s last match in WWE, according to his current WWE contract. Thus, it is less likely that he will get the win against Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.

Several fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment regarding this situation.

One fan put question marks on WWE’s booking of Goldberg and compared Goldberg’s WWE booking to Sting’s booking in AEW. The fan pointed out how Goldberg should be booked.

Based on his contract, it looks like his match against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event will be his last match in WWE. However, he may have signed a new deal or an extension that fans may not be aware of.

In case Goldberg defeats Reigns, we might also see him going up against one of his former rivals, Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate has already announced he will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.
