He was bleeding like a stuck pig, and I couldn’t believe it. There was a rope banister around the ring, and the smoky crowd and the security guard had a sidearm on his hip.”

So I forever fell in love with wrestling, and your dad was a big inspiration. One of the number reasons I got into the business,” Austin added.

When the cops didn’t help The American Dream, Steve Austin asked his mother why they did not help the late Dusty Rhodes. However, The Texas Rattlesnake did not understand as a kid that it was a staged fight, and Rhodes bleeding was a part of professional wrestling.
