Since Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky lost their Tag Team Championship to Becky Lynch and Lita, the Damage CTRL has been on the decline. The heel stable, however, managed to salvage some of their pride on the recent episode of RAW. Kai and Bayley secured a win against reigning tag team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title match.

The victory opened the doors for the duo to have a shot at the gold against the same pair on the upcoming SmackDown. This was Damage CTRL’s first win in months.
