Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2022. But after the actor passed a comment, fans suddenly turned their back on him. Recently, Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to post a picture of DC Superpets and called the DCEU the “Black Adam Universe”. This comment by him was not well received by the fans.

The former WWE champion has always been a popular figure amongst his fans, but suddenly it seems as if the tables have turned. Several people on Twitter called out Dwayne Johnson for making the DCEU about him. Both DC Superpets and Black Adam, have The Rock starring in them. It led to him promoting both films on his social media handle.

Although fans did not have any sort of problem with the promotion, his statement of basing the DCEU around him got him onto the negative side of his fans.

On the other hand, Justice League director, Zack Snyder, thought that Black Adam could fit into his universe. Speaking with Tyrone Magnus, Snyder admitted that Black Adam could fit into the SnyderVerse. Snyder admitted that “I mean, I think he could fit in the world, so it’s interesting.”

Seeing The Rock play an active part in the SnyderVerse may come as a shock to many, but as per reports, the interest is mutual. Sources claim that Dwayne Johnson sees Black Adam as an essential part of the 10-year plan for DC.

As per reports, Dwayne Johnson is now going to join DC Studios as an advisor. Not only would the Brahma Bull make his live-action DC debut with Black Adam, but he will also be honing the role of an advisor. According to Giantfreakin Robot, Johnson will be made the advisor to the new vision of the DC comic book adaptions and will play an important role in the future.

Recently DC canceled a lot of its future projects and it was also announced that the current DCEU is going to be based around Black Adam. So, bringing in Dwayne Johnson as an advisor will serve as a benefit. There have also been possible rumors of a Henry Cavill cameo in Black Adam, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Although not in continuation with SnyderVerse, several independent DC projects were released recently.
