“Hopefully he Sees it” – Bobby Lashley Issues Massive Challenge to Brock Lesnar

Bobby Lashley was a big name in WWE back in the mid-2000s. He became a two-time ECW Champion and one time WWE United States Champion.
However, he left WWE for TNA, where he won all the major titles. Lashley’s second tenure in WWE began in 2018. He won the Intercontinental Championship twice last year.
This year was not so favorable to Lashley until he aligned himself with MVP, Shelton Benjamin (and now Cedric Alexander) to form the Hurt Business. He defeated Apollo Crews at WWE Payback 2020 to become the new United States Champion. However, Bobby Lashley is aiming more for a legacy than a title.

Bobby Lashley wants a legacy like Brock Lesnar
In a recent interview with DailyDDT, Bobby Lashley talked about a lot of things. He said the United States Championship definitely pushed him in the right direction. However, Lashley is setting his sights on the World titles. He said “There are so many titles in wrestling right now, but the world titles mean the most. That’s where my sights are set completely.”
The United States Champ emphasized on building a legacy of his own. He wants to come back to WWE in the future to fight with the younger talents like Brock Lesnar. He wants to build his legacy just like him and for that to happen, a world title is necessary – “When Vince brings me back later, you can say former world champion, Bobby Lashley. That’s what I want.”

“When I just met Brock two years ago when I first got back and it was in Saudi [Arabia], that was the first time we had ever crossed paths. Before that, I had never met him. The minute I started in WWE 17 years ago, I was always compared to Brock and never once had any kind of discussion.”
Lashley said, “I don’t know if he’s going back to fighting or what, but the fans have been calling for it forever. I know there have been some people on his side that have deflected it for whatever reason and for the life of me I don’t understand that, but I don’t think there’s any better of a match that can happen right now than he and I.”
However, Lashley is hopeful that Brock might listen to the fans and makes Lashley vs. Lesnar a reality.
