From Vince McMahon’s company, Hulkster was pocketing millions of dollars. Reportedly, his peak earnings were $10 million due to his stardom and ability to draw huge crowds to watch the sport.

He certainly was the promotion’s eye-catching figure and possessed all the elements that the wrestling business in the 1980s demanded.

Hulkster’s current net worth is not at its peak. As his salary at his peak was 10 million, his net worth would have been immensely high. Additionally, Hogan’s legal fight with the media organization Gawker has also aided in the improvement of his economic state. He won this case and reportedly was given a damages amount of more than $30 million.

The company had to give Hulkster over $100 Million but he really didn’t get all the money, as Gawker soon filed for bankruptcy. However, Hulkster made significant money from this legal battle.

Hulk Hogan lost millions; how did it happen?

Over the years, he mismanaged his money and lost a lot of money in his divorce from Linda Hogan. He had to pay 40% of his equity and 70% of their liquid assets to Linda. Not just that. She also got a property settlement of $3 million and a share of their joint investment accounts of $7.44 million.

While Linda Hogan received her fair part of the divorce settlement, Hogan was left with just $2.97 million and was forced to sell many of his properties. His other expensive acquisitions also significantly reduced his net worth.

The same Gawker legal dispute led to him losing his WWE contract in 2015. Additionally, his net worth fell to $8 million less than his WWE salary in 2016, clarifying that he had lost millions over the years. However, it has now come back to 25 million. It most likely would have been much greater had he handled his money as effectively as he ought to have back then.
